Visiting San Francisco - one of California’s most famous cities

There are few cities have taken a legendary, almost mythical status. The ones that have, need to be seen to be believed.

One of those cities, in San Francisco, located on the north Californian pacific coast.

When visiting this city, we chose to visit many of the sights that are synonymous with this metropolis.

Take the Golden Gate Bridge as an example. The towering structure is something to behold. With San Francisco being located on a bay, fog will often drift in and make for a cloudy and moody atmosphere. This happened on my visit to the bridge - but it made the visit no less spectacular!

Other places to visit whilst in San Francisco include Lombard Street - the famous zig-zagging one way road with 8 hairpin turns!

And something for the movie lovers - the original house from Mrs Doubtfire is located in San Francisco. It’s a private residence so don’t be too intrusive, but it’s well worth a look if you’re trying by!
