This is the Western-style izakaya "REGALO KURA" in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

I happened to pass by...

I found a sign for soft-serve ice cream and the words "take-out available" so I ordered.

This shop uses a soft-serve ice cream maker called "Carpigiani".

Soft-serve ice cream is made not only with different ingredients but also with different equipment.

I'm looking forward to it because there are not many shops that list their equipment.

"Bekkai-cho Milk Soft-serve Ice Cream (400 yen)"

It was indeed rich and had a clean aftertaste just as the description said.

Moreover, the mold for the soft-serve ice cream has fine jagged edges which is interesting😊

As you would expect from a "Western-style izakaya" in Hokkaido,

the menu outside also listed items such as "King crab hot sandwich (980 yen)" and "King crab pizza (1580 yen)".

There are also plenty of menu items using seafood that are a specialty of Hokkaido!

There are several large TVs installed inside the restaurant, so it seems like the kind of atmosphere that would be great for a sporting event.
