This hotel, which is delayed by its name, deserves to be known by more people

Those familiar with hotels will have guessed from the title that I'm talking about the Sanya Taikang Home Resort Hotel, a boutique hotel.
When you see Taikang, the first thing that comes to mind is insurance and retirement,
so it's often nicknamed a "nursing home" hotel.
It's indeed a wellness hotel,
but not the typical nursing home style we might imagine.

The hotel hired the renowned Neri&Hu design firm for both architecture and interior design,
so it bears many resemblances to the Shanghai Edition,
and at this price point, it's a perfectly acceptable alternative to the Edition.
Neri&Hu cleverly blends unique local traditions with natural elements,
creating a bold interpretation.
You'll find hand-fired clay tiles and abundant rattan and bamboo weaving in the local Li ethnic group style,
creating a tranquil and secluded tropical oasis.

The Sanya Taikang Home's strength lies in its newness,
making it suitable for vacations of all ages.
In my opinion, the hotel that caters to families, couples, and the elderly is probably the Taikang Home, a boutique hotel. As for the downsides, it's not by the sea.

Sunshine One, Moutai, and Taikang Home are all part of the same complex, but none of them are by the sea.

The hotel has over 4,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor children's play space:

one indoor, one outdoor, and one semi-outdoor.

There are also three outdoor children's pools,

with plenty of water facilities for children to enjoy.

This time, the front desk upgraded me to a heated open-air suite.

Unfortunately, this suite turned out to have the construction site view described online.

Besides the exterior view, the room's natural wood style was very soothing, and the details were also noteworthy.

Although the entire open-air suite is a pseudo-suite,

the sense of the various functional areas arranged around the bed is quite novel.

The nightfall ceremony is also very special.

Hotel staff present guests with bamboo boats and fishing lanterns,

inviting everyone to join in releasing the boats into the water courtyard pool and watching the beautiful sight of the numerous boats swaying and shimmering in the water.
