Lavish Island Lagoon - WeiZizhou

Who would have thought that this island has so much. From a lagoon to a bird and horse sanctuary, this place is amazing.

⛵️We thought it might take a long time to get to the island but it only takes 20 minutes by boat from the town of HouHai.

The lagoon area was amazing. We saw ducks, turkeys, peacocks, geese, and even ostriches. We would definitely recommend the lagoon as it is so quaint and pretty.

The lagoon is very close to one of the resorts on the island, which means it is very well maintained. We would recommend going in the morning as there are not too many tourists there, by noon it might get a little crowded, and definitely check out the south side of the lagoon as this is where people take the best pictures.

All in all it was a great experience if you are a nature and animal lover. Would recommend to a friend 😄
