The first time I came to Sanya in 2020, Houhai was unknown to me. My friends raves about it after they returned from recent trips to Sanya. this time around, I’m glad I had the opportunity to check it out. Basically everyone on the beach was learning how to surf or showing out their surfing skills. The area is also a great spot for a fun, social vibe. Many foreigners enjoy Houhai and it’s highly likely you will meet foreigners from all over China there.
