Secret Sunset Spots in Sanya

Just got back from Sanya! The best choice this winter was basking in the Sanya sunshine🌞 Had an amazing 5-day, 4-night trip while avoiding crowds the whole time. Sharing my exclusive itinerary~

DAY1️⃣
📍Yalong Bay Beach: Got super lucky booking an ocean-view room this time! Had the entire beach to myself in the morning - pure bliss!
🍴Lunch pick: Little Dolphin Seafood (near Yalong Bay, they cook live seafood from tanks)
📍Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park: The glass walkway is thrilling! Recommend buying the shuttle ticket unless you're up for a tiring hike

DAY2️⃣
📍Wuzhizhou Island: Must catch the earliest ferry! The gradient blue seawater is breathtaking. Tried scuba diving and jet skiing (book activity packages in advance on Ctrip)
🍴Dinner pick: Alang Seafood on the island (pricier than downtown but super fresh)

DAY3️⃣
📍Tianya Haijiao: Some say it's too commercialized, but the sunset views are spectacular! Don't miss the long coconut tree-lined path nearby
📍Coconut Dream Corridor: Rent an e-bike to cruise along the coastline - perfect for leisurely stops and photos

DAY4️⃣
📍Atlantis Waterpark: A must with kids! Rode the Poseidon's Revenge coaster 3 times (remember waterproof phone cases)
🍴Dinner pick: Underwater Restaurant in Haitang Bay (pricey but you dine with sharks swimming by)

DAY5️⃣
📍Duty-free shopping spree: Saved the last day for retail therapy! Arrive at 10am opening - be prepared to queue for popular cosmetics

1. SUNSCREEN! SUNSCREEN! SUNSCREEN! Even with Anessa I got tanned
2. Evening traffic jams around Sanya Bay - taxis beat rental cars
3. Just pack flip-flops - you'll be on beaches constantly
4. Allow 40+ minutes for crowded airport tax refund pickups
