Lazy Days in Sanya ☀️⛱️ One Week of Real Beach Relaxation

We spent a full week in Sanya, enjoying a slow and sunny beach holiday in Yalong Bay — one of the most beautiful and clean areas on Hainan Island.
We stayed at Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort, a comfortable hotel with great beach access and pools. The location was perfect: close to everything, yet quiet enough for total relaxation.

The hotel itself was lovely, especially the pools and greenery. The only downside was the hotel restaurant — the food was very expensive and honestly not that great. But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because just a short evening walk away is the Yalong Bay Market — full of street food, small restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Every evening felt like a little adventure 🌮🍢🛍️

Most of our days were spent in the most relaxing way possible:
– Mornings on the beach 🏖️
– Afternoons by the pool 🌴
– Evenings at the market or just walking around the bay

Before the trip, we were a bit worried about the rainy season and forecasts showing cloudy skies. But in reality, we had sunshine almost every day. It only rained once — and for just 30 minutes. The rest of the week was perfect for tanning, swimming, and doing absolutely nothing ☀️

We did take one small day trip to the Tropical Paradise Forest Park, where we walked across the famous Glass Bridge and enjoyed stunning views. After that, we visited the legendary Sanya Duty-Free Mall, where I finally bought the bag I’d been eyeing — and yes, I took it with me right to the hotel 😄👜

✨ Overall, it was exactly the kind of vacation I needed:
– Warm, calm, and slow
– Surrounded by clean beaches, palm trees, and turquoise water
– And yes… I came back sun-kissed and recharged 🌞

If you’re looking for real beach time with zero pressure to sightsee, Sanya is absolutely worth it.
