Tianjia Town - or, as it is also called, the "Chinese Santorini" in Hainan.

🔖Tianjia Town — or, as it is also called, the "Chinese Santorini" on Hainan.

🔵 Name of the place: 天涯小镇游客服务中心
🔵How to get there: it takes about an hour to get from the Dadonghai area to Tianjia Town. Buses No. 125 or No. 30 (it is better to choose No. 30 — it goes faster, and it only has seats).
📍 Point on the map: Amap

We were in this area for the second time, we walked from the "End of the World" park — they are located very close.

We wanted to meet the sunset in one of the restaurants, but were very surprised by the large-scale construction in the area. A year and a half ago, when we were there for the first time, everything looked different. Our favorite beach cafe is closed, a lot is being rebuilt. No, some things are working, but most are under repair.

⭐️But still, the unique atmosphere of Tianjia Town remains, and it is not like the rest of Hainan, and even more so like the usual China. In the evening, life is still in full swing: there are a lot of young people at the bar tables (those cafes that are open), live music is playing - such, you know, a resort vibe of idleness.

Cute houses and cozy streets. It smells of the sea and food, there are cafes with terraces on the beach, and souvenir shops and guest houses in the alleys. It seems like China, but as if we were in the Mediterranean (even though we were not there).

🏠Most likely, the repairs will be finished soon, and Tianjia Town will become truly colorful. If you are in this area (you can stop by on your way from the parks "End of the World", "Nanshan" or "Taoist Grottoes") - stay for the sunset, order a drink and just enjoy the unique atmosphere of Hainan.
