Sapa Trekking Adventure & Homestay

Sapa trekking diary went down, with all the deets you need if you wanna experience it too! 👣

Day 1: Sapa ➡️ Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai ➡️ Ta Van Village
We started bright and early, leaving Sapa and trekking through those iconic rolling rice terraces that literally look like a Windows XP background—SO dreamy!😍 The path takes you through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages where you can vibe with local life and even catch some water buffalo chilling by the streams. After about 5.5 hours (yup, you’ll get those steps in!) and 9-11km later, we arrived at Ta Van.
Address: Dinh Sapa Trekking Adventures, Ta Van, Sapa.

Day 2: Ta Van ➡️ Giang Ta Chai Waterfall ➡️ Back to Sapa
This trek to Giang Ta Chai village is about 4 hours (7-8km), with waterfall stops that are major IG material.
– Homestay = ultimate authenticity. The Hmong-style dinners were soooo good, and sharing stories over dinner felt like hanging with family.
– The rice terrace views? Unreal. Like, slap-your-face beautiful. Each route is a fresh slice of natural magic.

Hotel Highlights 🛌
– Location: Ta Van village, Sapa, surrounded by lush greenery and Insta-worthy rice terraces
– Vibes: Clean, cozy rooms with heated blankets (yes, please!)
– Eats: Delish breakfast, traditional Hmong dinners
– Activities: Free guided treks, up-close local community experiences
