There is some mysterious art there🌱

This is the site of a former quarry that was originally a source of Sapporo soft stone.

With many remaining stones, this place is like a space straight out of Laputa...!
The base of the street lamp is also strangely designed🧐

It's like a space from another world,
and it's exciting, but also a little scary,
and it was a strange feeling✍🏻

It's about a 30-minute drive south from downtown Sapporo🚙

so I was able to take pictures without worry🙌🏻

If you visit in the evening,
the stone area will be in the shadow,
so you might be able to take brighter pictures in the morning🫰🏻
