On the way to Sertar

There's a line in the behind-the-scenes footage of the movie "Paths of the Soul": "There is no completely correct way of life in this world. Sacred mountains and holy lakes are not the destination. Accept your ordinary self, but never give up on ideals and faith. Love life, we are all on the road, and perhaps what lies at the end of the road is never important." Starting from Ganzi County to Sertar without passing through Luhuo County, there is a Provincial Highway S455 that leads directly to Sertar. This road crosses over the sacred Nailong Mountain, offering breathtaking scenery.
Along the way, grasslands, forests, snow-capped mountains, and temples alternate. Donggu Temple is built against the mountain, housing many thangka paintings, golden Buddha statues, and relics from the Ming Dynasty. Shortly after passing Donggu Temple, you'll reach the foot of Nailong Mountain, standing at 4,671 meters above sea level. Though not extremely high, it is majestic, covered in dense forests, layered peaks, and even millennia-old karst caves. Crossing the 4,580-meter-high pass and descending to the base, you'll find pristine forests lining the roadside.
