Sapporo has everything that would blow your mind about Japan all in one place. It combines the big city life and attractions of larger cities, with access to a world of nature – mountains, skiing, the rest of Hokkaido – right on your doorstep!

Sapporo is also the city which is home to Sapporo Brewery, white chocolate biscuits known as 'shiroi koibito' (白い恋人), and also as the birthplace of miso ramen.

Many types of crab are harvested and served seasonally in Sapporo like the horsehair crab, snow crab, king crab, and Hanasaki crab, with numerous dishes revolving around them!
Not forgetting to try out the curry which was superb bursting in flavours!
