Travel Diary Japan 19 - Sapporo Edition
šHanamomiji
When visiting Sapporo, many people often head to Noboribetsu for its hot springs āØļø. However, thereās a closer option: the town of Jozankei, which also boasts numerous hot spring ryokans.
Today, Iād like to introduce you to šHanamomiji, a luxurious resort-style ryokanāŗļø. It offers a sumptuous dinner, beautifully designed rooms, and charming relaxation spaces scattered throughout the large bath and hot spring areas. Itās a place youāll want to revisit, especially during a winter trip.
I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was worth every penny. The quality of the large bath and the ryokan itself was exceptionalāļø. Thereās even a small shop for light souvenirs inside, and although itās in a secluded location, a convenience store is less than a 10-minute walk away. Itās the perfect spot to unwind and do absolutely nothingš.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take a break from their busy daily life.
šHow to get to Hanamomiji from Sapporo Station
Take the Hanamomiji shuttle bus from Sapporo Station and get off right in front of Hanamomiji (free, reservation required on their website).
š¤Places to visit near Hanamomiji
A small shrine ā©ļø located on the street in front of the ryokan,
šæJozankei Gensen Park.
