Dongchong and Xichong are both located at the southernmost tip of Shenzhen's Dapeng Peninsula. They are not far apart and can be reached by hiking for four hours, forming the famous Dongchong and Xichong crossing route.
Both East and West Chong are surrounded by mountains on three sides and the coast on one side. The rolling hills and long coastline mean half the journey is mountainous, the other half the coastline. Along the way, you'll find verdant mountains, azure seas, beaches, islands, reefs, sea rocks, caves, bridges, pillars, and other marine landforms, offering breathtaking sea views! This is a great place for hiking, camping, and sunrise viewing.
