Hill of the Buddha or Atama Daibutsu

A temple in Hokkaido featuring a massive Buddha statue standing 13.5 meters tall. The atmosphere around the temple is adorned with beautifully arranged stone sculptures, making it a must-visit destination at least once in a lifetime.

Inside the temple, the Buddha statue is surrounded by a circular layout, allowing visitors to walk around and admire the serene environment. Despite the number of visitors, the interior remains spacious and uncrowded. Upon stepping outside, you'll encounter stone sculptures that you can climb for a perfect photo opportunity.
