🌸 A Magical One-Day Journey Through Sapporo — From Morning Views to Night Lights

If you only have one day in Sapporo, don’t worry — you can still experience the city’s perfect blend of culture, sweets, and stunning views! Here’s how I spent an unforgettable day exploring this charming northern city of Japan. 🇯🇵✨

🕣 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM | Sapporo TV Tower
Start your morning with breathtaking views from the Sapporo TV Tower, right in Odori Park. The observation deck offers a beautiful panorama of Sapporo city — especially magical during winter or the Snow Festival. Don’t forget to snap a few photos with the tower in the background! 📸

🍫 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM | Shiroi Koibito Park
Next stop — the sweetest place in town! 🍪 The Shiroi Koibito Park is a chocolate lover’s dream, with its fairytale architecture, chocolate-making tour, and adorable photo spots.
✨ Must-try: the Shiroi Koibito soft ice cream (around ¥400–¥500) — creamy, rich, and perfect for Instagram!

🌳 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Maruyama Park & Hokkaido Shrine
After lunch, take a peaceful stroll through Maruyama Park, one of Sapporo’s most scenic spots in all seasons. Inside the park, visit Hokkaido Shrine, where you can make a wish, buy good-luck charms, and enjoy the calming Shinto atmosphere. 🍃
💡 Tip: Wear comfy shoes — you’ll be walking quite a bit!

🌆 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM | Mount Moiwa (Moiwa-yama)
As the sun sets, head to Mount Moiwa for a breathtaking night view of Sapporo. Take the ropeway and mini cable car to the top, where the entire city sparkles beneath you. 🌃
It’s the perfect romantic ending to your Sapporo adventure. Don’t forget your jacket — it gets chilly up there even in summer! ❄️

💬 Final Thoughts:
Sapporo truly has it all — from history and culture to sweets and scenery. Whether you’re sipping chocolate, exploring temples, or gazing at city lights, this northern gem will leave you wanting more!
