Hotel Emmy Sapporo

This time in Hokkaido, I stayed at the Sapporo Emmy Hotel, which is about an 8-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the 24-hour 7-Eleven convenience store on the first floor of the lobby, ensuring you're never hungry. The hotel lobby is tastefully decorated in a Japanese wood style, spacious and bright. The front desk service was excellent, and there are four elevators, so the wait wasn't long. The hotel has a public bath area on the second floor, with separate baths for men and women. There's also a smoking area on the second floor, but you need your room card to access it. There are also laundry facilities and microwaves on the second floor, which also serves breakfast (2700 yen per adult). There's also a small bar on the second floor for a drink. A passageway on the second floor connects to the subway and JR stations in the underground passage, which is very convenient during snow or rain. As for the rooms, the space was just right, the bathroom facilities were comfortable, and they were clean. The room includes a TV and refrigerator. A bottle of mineral water is provided daily during housekeeping; you can ask the front desk for more if needed. The WiFi speed is fairly stable, and a small table and sofa are provided. The comforter is reasonably thick and warm. Slippers and an air freshener spray are also provided to eliminate odors from clothes, bags, and shoes. The price is approximately NT$5500 per night including tax, but the exact price may vary. A major advantage of this room is the abundance of charging outlets, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to charge your phone or laptop. The hotel's first-floor lobby is also a great place to relax and wait, offering beautiful views of the autumn leaves outside the windows; however, eating is not allowed in the lobby. The hotel is also not far from Hokkaido University, just a 15-minute walk away. In early November, the hotel hosts the Golden Leaf Festival, a spectacular and dreamlike event where ginkgo trees are illuminated, creating a breathtaking and enchanting scene. Because this hotel is located near JR Sapporo Station, you can easily walk to STELLA PLACE and Daimaru Department Store near the station for dining and shopping. In short, I recommend everyone to experience this hotel; the overall experience is excellent. #HotelSapporoEmien
