Sapporo in my memory...Jozankeifutami Park

Josankei Onsen Town was founded by a Japanese monk and has a legend about kappa (a frog-like demon), so you can see statues everywhere in the town and at various onsen throughout Josankei.

I had breakfast and dropped off my bags before heading out to explore this hot spring town.

The leaves in Josankei have all fallen off, so you can see a few yellow and red leaves.

But it's good that there aren't many people, so it's easy to walk and let your mind wander through the nature and the beauty of the stream, mountains, forests, and water.

I continued along the stream until I reached the red bridge Futamitsuri Bridge, and then I headed back.

I didn't use the outside hot spring because I had already soaked in the hotel.
