A hidden gem garden in Yangzhou! The private garden of the salt merchant Lao He simply amazed me~ Enter through the low-key small gate at No. 66 Xuningmen Street, and you instantly travel to another world✨
Who says niche spots are not appreciated? Compared to crowded popular attractions, this place preserves the most authentic Jiangnan charm! Few tourists, so you can take your time exploring🌧️ It feels great whether it's sunny or rainy~
Some pavilions require climbing up and down, which is quite unique
I envy the ancient people living in big mansions, who could be happy every day without leaving their homes
💡 Highlights to check out:
• The rockery and strange stones are super photogenic! The great salt merchant’s aesthetic is amazing
• How deep is the courtyard, winding paths leading to secluded spots... this is the real Jiangnan garden
• Find a stone bench to sit on, watch the small bridges and flowing water, it’s as beautiful as a painting🏮
💰 Tickets only 28 yuan! Excellent value for money
⏰ 07:30-18:00 (Remember to enter before 17:30)
📸 Best photo spot: The stone bench where that young lady is sitting, with a pond reflecting green plants in the background, a heavenly composition!
