Lunch at Pike Place Market 😋
Founded in 1907, Pike Place Market is famous for its unique vendors who perform fish-throwing shows. It is also the birthplace of the very first Starbucks in the world and home to a golden piggy bank named Rachel❗
🏆 Highly Recommended Foods at Pike Place Market:
We spotted a stall selling corn for $6 each, which is considered affordable here. We chose the basic butter flavor, and it was absolutely delicious 👍👍👍
Pasta Casalinga: Super tasty Italian pasta 🍝
According to Google reviews 🔍, Pasta Casalinga is rated 4.6, making it the highest-rated Italian pasta restaurant in Pike Place Market. Among the three Italian pasta restaurants here, we were lucky to try the best one❗ This restaurant only accepts card payments and adds a 4% tax. Don’t be fooled by the photos that make the pasta look similar to other restaurants; the taste is on a whole different level. I ordered the tomato cheese pasta, which was incredibly flavorful, with perfectly cooked, chewy, and satisfying noodles. My husband’s lasagna was also generously portioned and delicious 👍😋
📍 Address: Pasta Casalinga, 93 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101, USA
🎀 Hours: Daily from 11:00 AM to 4:45 PM
The World’s First Starbucks: It’s said that taking a photo with the logo of this Starbucks requires waiting in line for an hour. We just took a quick snap at the entrance before exploring the market❗ Note that the logo is quite different from regular Starbucks logos❗
Since Pike Place Market is a tourist spot, I wandered around with an appreciative eye, observing every corner and the various items sold by the vendors. I also captured photos of the market’s artistic installations (?!). Additionally, I recommend checking out the stalls outside the market that sell organic cold-pressed apple juice. The price includes unlimited refills❗ They offer not only the original apple juice but also a variety of flavors to choose from 👍
Exploring Pike Place Market was truly fascinating and fun. How lucky we are❗✨✨✌️
