Nanakita Park

Spacious public park in the heart of Izumiku.

Very few toilets or drink fountains. Not ideal for little kids on a hot day.

The play equipment is run down and not really designed for little kids.

Being so close to the Izumi Chuo Subway Station, I was impressed that the parking fees were satisfactorily cheap and the parking lot had a lot of room.

The saving factor of the day was the stream that runs through the park. With water to get their feet wet and play in, kids come alive! It was shallow and safe enough for elementary aged children to play in under supervision.

An OK place if you need a big grassy area for kids to run around in.
