Because it's still new, the rooms were clean and very spacious.

Access is also great, with buses running from Sendai Station to KAI Akiu.

After checking in, I headed straight to the 24-hour "Seseragi Lounge."

I was excited to enjoy tea and sweets while soaking in a foot bath.

The hotel offers a wide selection of Japanese sweets to match its ambiance. 🍡

Dinner was a sumptuous feudal lord's kaiseki dinner. Starting with an appetizer of oxtail and Sendai miso rillettes,
a gorgeous array of dishes awaited.

For breakfast, I enjoyed Miyagi's local dish, "imoni," which was sure to leave me completely satisfied. 😊

Why not enjoy a relaxing moment by the colorful mountain stream? 💭
