Seongsanri

#koreatrip Seongsan-ri is a village located on the eastern side of Jeju Island, South Korea, and is most famous for Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as Sunrise Peak. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a volcanic tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions over 5,000 years ago. The peak offers spectacular views, especially at sunrise, and is surrounded by lush greenery and fields of canola flowers in spring. The area is also popular for its Haenyeo (female divers) who collect seafood in the traditional way. Seongsan-ri provides visitors with a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and outdoor activities.
