Shuangshi Park is located next to the waterwheel at the entrance of the ancient city and is built against Lion Mountain. The peculiarity of Shuangshi Park is that it is built against the mountain and is a vertical garden. If you want to visit it, you have to climb up along the steep stone road, which looks like an upright garden, as if it has the meaning of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

On the other side of the park is a massive red rock face, carved with countless Dongba legends, characters, and storylines, all of which are full of ethnic characteristics. On weekdays, Shuangshi Park is quiet and romantic. Gazing at the people and traffic below, it feels like escaping from all the hustle and bustle.
