Korea Korean Cafe A chance encounter! Cafe Onion

Korea Korea Tourism

I went to Korea for the first time

There are many Korean cafes in Korea, but this time I went to Cafe Onion, a famous and popular cafe that is said to be known by everyone on social media

✅ Cafe Onion Anguk Branch
✅ 5 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea

To be honest, I had no idea about this Cafe Onion Anguk Branch lol

I happened to get off the train to go sightseeing at Bukchon Hanok Village, and there was a line, so I wondered what it was. So I got in line out of curiosity, and the line got even bigger lol

Please tell me that the Western woman in front of me was more famous

Wow! I thought, "I see," but I lined up without knowing why lol

It's a cafe, but

the store is a modern remodeled Korean traditional house (Hanok),

and it's popular,

and it's a hot topic cafe with delicious freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee

The most popular bread is

✅ Pandoro

→Originally from Italy, it is a star-shaped bread made with a firm dough using plenty of butter

It is topped with a generous amount of powdered sugar

It's a bread that looks eye-catching

The bread dough itself is sweet and delicious,

and it's amazing how the powdered sugar is beautifully placed on top!

✅ Strawberry flower

→Crispy pie crust with custard cream and strawberry jam, just as delicious as you would expect

✅Pizza with lots of cheese

→It was just lunchtime so I ordered it. It's so filling that one of these is enough to fill me up.

※After that I ate Pandoro but I was so full lol

✅Bread with bean paste and butter

→I bought it for a late-night snack, but I ended up eating it after I returned home.

It was so delicious.

The butter wasn't too heavy!

Of course, the coffee was freshly brewed and delicious.

※If you order takeout or eat at the terrace outside,

you can order without having to queue too much, but it still took 45 minutes from when you started queuing to when you sat down to eat.

I recommend it when you have time!
