The first place to stop when you go to Dongdaemun is probably Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

Various events are held here, and there are also various light-up events, so you might want to plan your trip to Korea to coincide with those events✨

It's a spectacular building during the day, but it's also beautiful when lit up at night. The glowing roses🌹 are especially fantastic.

It's right next to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station, and of course you can go inside. There are exhibitions and a Kakao Friends shop✨
