2025/4/3 I went to Seoul, South Korea during the Qingming Festival, hoping to try my luck.
As soon as you get off the plane, the average temperature in Seoul is 2-12 degrees
Stay in the bustling Myeongdong, with direct airport bus access, no need to transfer or carry luggage
Myeongdong is a city that never sleeps. There are money changers, 24-hour restaurants and convenience stores along the way. The night market in the whole area is open until 12:00. However, the night market snacks are not affordable, which makes people feel that it is indeed a tourist area. A cup of freshly squeezed juice costs 10,000 won.
I arrived on the first night and was full of energy. I shopped until 12:00. There was a clearance sale of juices for 4,000 Korean dollars. The weather was 4 degrees. I happily bought juices, took photos and replied to messages with stiff fingers, looking forward to the next journey.
The next morning, I headed straight to Kyung Hee University to avoid the crowds of people going to school and work.
Finally saw the European-style building I had longed for
I knew in my heart that the cherry blossoms would not bloom, but luckily for me, the weather was nice and God loved me. I saw lovely half-opened cherry blossoms on the high platform in the smoking area, which fulfilled the purpose of this trip!
On the last day, I still wanted to go to Yeouido. Although I knew that there would not be many trains and the subway would arrive in 25 minutes, I wanted to make the most of the last time. After arriving, I found that Subway Line 5 was several floors below the Han River. It took a lot of leg strength to move up. When I went out to the ferry terminal, I saw the vast and comfortable Han River embankment. Everyone brought their families and were picnicking or preparing for a picnic. Taking advantage of the good weather, I came out to bask in the warm sun.
