Huashou Gate is located southwest of the Tianzhu Peak, the main peak of Jizu Mountain, overlooking the Golden Summit above and the abyss below. In the middle of a 500-meter-high natural cliff, a formidable, precipitous fracture, stands a magnificent stone gate, a gift from nature. The gate stands 40 meters high and 20 meters wide, with a 3-meter-high eaves extending from the top. A straight crack divides the gate into two sections. A large stone lock hangs from the upper part of the crack, securing the gate tightly and making it appear closed.

Huashou Gate is only 670 meters from Jinding Temple. A small path on the left leads to the back mountain, while a right path leads directly to Jinding Temple, past the Bronze Buddha Hall. Not only is it renowned for its unique and treacherous terrain, but also because it is said to be the place where Kasyapa, one of Sakyamuni's ten great disciples, entered into meditation ("samadhi") while guarding his robes, it holds a pivotal position throughout Jizu Mountain, earning it the title "China's First Gate" in Buddhism.

The eaves and lintels are clearly discernible, and looking up, the precarious cliffs reach up to the sky, precariously poised to collapse. From the stone gate, one can overlook the deep valley, where misty clouds seem to reach the heavens, a breathtaking spectacle. Huashou Gate, brimming with the spiritual energy of heaven and earth and the mysteries of Buddhist culture, combines grandeur, wonder, beauty, danger, and spirituality, making it a must-see attraction on Jizu Mountain.
