This is my third visit to Yeouido during my trip to Seoul. Every time I come, the time and weather are different, and the atmosphere I feel is completely different.
Many people's first impression of Yeouido is "high-rise buildings and a strong commercial atmosphere", but after visiting it in person this time, they found that it is actually an urban oasis that combines modern architecture and natural beauty. Here are three reasons why I recommend visiting Yeouido.
1. The sunset at Han River Park is so romantic!
When you come to Yeouido, you must go for a walk in Han River Park. Whether you rent a bicycle and roam along the river bank, or sit on the grass and watch the sun slowly set, it is a great choice to heal your body and mind, and it is definitely worth taking out your camera to capture!
2. National Assembly Building & Yeouido Park
Don’t think there are only office buildings here. In fact, Yeouido Park is super beautiful and great for taking photos. The appearance of the National Assembly Building is solemn and spectacular. Friends who like architectural aesthetics should not miss it!
3. There are many cafes here, a paradise for young people with a sense of style
You will find a specialty coffee shop every few steps, whether it is Korean minimalist style or retro nostalgic style. Some of them offer views of the Han River. It is really relaxing to drink coffee and enjoy the scenery.
Although Yeouido is the center of finance and politics, the pace of life here is slower than that in the city center, which allows people to calm down and appreciate the other side of the city. Recommended for those who want to see a different side of Seoul. You will fall in love with it once you come!
