When you leave Exit 5 of Gyeongbokgung Station on Subway Line 3, you will see the National Palace Museum (free) on your left and Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, on your right.
You can enjoy it more by learning about the history of the Joseon Dynasty at the museum first and then visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace.
The admission fee to Gyeongbokgung Palace is 3,000 won (about 343 yen), and you can purchase tickets at the ticket machine at the entrance.
You can also use credit cards and T-money cards, so you don't have to worry if you don't speak Korean.
You can also get free admission if you wear a hanbok (traditional Korean clothing).
Experience a day of history and culture at Gyeongbokgung Palace!
