Ankara is a famous tourist city in Türkiye, with thousands of tourists coming here for sightseeing and vacation every day. This time I will introduce a travel guide to Ankara.
The must-see attractions in Ankara are:
Ankara Castle: It is a very interesting place to stroll around. The thick walls and intricate winding streets are a good place to walk in the afterglow of the sunset. Climb the walls to overlook Ankara and take in the stunning panoramic view. The inner peace and tranquility make you feel like you are back home.
PS: Down from the castle is a characteristic town, with many souvenirs for sale and snacks to fill your stomach~
ㅤ
Museum of the History of Anatolian Civilizations: One of the top museums in Türkiye, it displays important archaeological achievements in the Anatolian region and houses precious artifacts from the Hittite period.
ㅤ
Kemal Mausoleum: Also known as the Mausoleum of the Father of the Turkish Nation, the building complex is solemn and majestic, including a museum and a memorial courtyard. It is very magnificently built, and the changing of guard ceremony of the gatekeepers is also a scene worth seeing! (The tour takes about 2.3 hours)
Weather Dressing
The temperature in Ankara is between 9-26℃ in May and June. You can wear cool and breathable clothes such as shirts, thin long skirts, and thin T-shirts during the day, and warm clothes such as suits, windbreakers, jackets, and thin sweaters at night.
The temperature in July and August is between 20-35°C, and it may feel as if it is above 40°C. Wear summer clothes during the day and a coat at night.
