A heavenly place not far from Seoul !

Namsan Park, located in the heart of Seoul at the base of Namsan Mountain, is the city’s largest civic park and a must-visit destination for nature lovers and tourists alike. The park is divided into four districts—Jangchung, Yejang, Hoehyeon, and Hannam—offering diverse experiences including walking trails, cultural sites, and beautiful plantations. One of its main highlights is the N Seoul Tower, perched atop the mountain, providing a stunning panoramic view of Seoul’s skyline, especially breathtaking at sunset and night.
Visitors can enjoy well-maintained hiking paths or take a cable car to the tower. The hike from Namsan Library to the tower takes about 30 minutes along scenic trails that are well-lit for evening visits. The park also features attractions like the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall and a children’s forest experience center. Entrance to the park is free, but some facilities like the observatory and cable car have admission fees.
To get there, you can take Seoul Subway Line 4 to Hoehyeon Station (Exit 4) or Myeongdong Station (Exit 3), both about a 20-minute walk to the park entrance. Alternatively, buses such as the 402 stop near Namsan Library, a convenient starting point for the hike or cable car ride. Spending 2-3 hours here allows time to explore the trails, visit the tower, and enjoy the views comfortably.
