Palace Strolls

#summervacay Spent the afternoon wandering around Changgyeonggung Palace and honestly? Such a peaceful, lowkey gem in the middle of the city. It doesn’t get as hyped as the other palaces, which is actually perfect, way less crowded, way more chill.

The buildings are gorgeous in that classic old-school Korean way, but what really got me was the open space. Big courtyards, quiet garden paths, and these pops of greenery everywhere. Found a bench under a tree and just sat for a while, listening to the wind and birds, felt like a total reset.

There’s also a greenhouse tucked in the back (yes, a greenhouse in a palace) that’s super cute and full of plants. Kinda random, but I loved it.

It’s the kind of place where you don’t need a tour guide or plan, just walk, vibe, and soak it all in. If you want a calm spot with history, nature, and zero stress, Changgyeonggung is where it’s at.
