Andaz Seoul Gangnam King Bed Deluxe

I arrived for check-in around 3:30 PM, and there was only one team ahead of me waiting. A staff member near the reception went inside and returned with another staff member who promptly took over at an empty desk.

Thanks to their quick response, I was able to check in without much waiting. Even if I had waited, it wouldn’t have been an issue, but their efficiency saved me time, which I appreciated.

The staff member assisting with check-in was very friendly. They provided a thorough explanation and made an effort to understand the purpose of my stay and my preferences.

Although the hotel is relatively small, with 17 floors, I requested a high floor and was given a room on the 15th floor. Each floor has about 10 rooms.

Upon entering the room, I couldn’t help but exclaim, "Wow!" True to its reputation as a luxury boutique hotel, the room was beautifully designed and spacious. The overall yellow-toned decor was delightful, giving it a design hotel vibe.

The bathroom was even more impressive—it’s clearly the highlight of the room! The colors were pleasing, and it featured a spacious, deep bathtub and a separate shower booth.

The toilet was located in a separate space near the entrance, while the bathroom itself had a wardrobe, and there was another main wardrobe near the entrance. The amenities were plentiful.

The room was quiet, and the table and chair were perfect for relaxing alone. Both the bed and sofa were comfortable and cozy. The windows weren’t floor-to-ceiling but consisted of three smaller windows with a pillar in the middle.

In the afternoon, the backlight made it difficult to take photos due to reflections, but the morning light was perfect for photography. My room had a view of Namsan.

The opposite side offers a view of Lotte World Tower. Although the views from this hotel are rarely mentioned, the 15th floor provided a surprisingly unobstructed and expansive view. I could see Gwanaksan and Bukhansan as well.

Given the reviews mentioning limited views, I found the scenery to be better than expected (I could even see the skyscrapers in Yeouido). Namsan Seoul Tower and the Grand Hyatt were clearly visible.

I had a relaxing and cozy time at Andaz Seoul Gangnam. Thank you!
