Dinner is scheduled at 7:30 PM for afternoon tea at the Lotte Hotel Lounge, followed by breakfast the next day at La Seine in Lotte Hotel. Accommodation is at L7 Myeongdong for a 1-night, 2-day special experience with Lotte Hotels & Resorts.
Lotte Hotels operates as a domestic brand similar to Japan's Tokyu Hotels, offering business, city, deluxe, and luxury options. The five types include Lotte City, L7, Lotte Hotel, Executive Tower, and Signiel. Tokyu Hotels, on the other hand, are categorized into Tokyu Stay, Excel Hotel Tokyu, and Tokyu Hotels.
The Executive Tower is comparable to Tokyo's The Capitol Tokyu, while Signiel resembles the structure of Tokyu Hotel & Resort in Miyakojima.
The L7 Myeongdong, where I stayed this time, is positioned between Lotte City and Lotte Hotel. It operates three locations in Myeongdong, Hongdae, and Gangnam (Seolleung). Personally, it feels similar to Japan's Mitsui Garden Hotel chain.
This hotel offers good conditions with a boutique-like vibe, priced lower than deluxe hotels. It features a rooftop bar with a Namsan view on the top floor. For Superior rooms and above, guests can enjoy a foot bath with a Namsan view, seemingly targeting Japanese tourists. Namsan view rooms appear to be limited to about five rooms per floor.
With no obstructions around, you can enjoy a perfect tower view. The 30-hour stay includes a free minibar plan, allowing you to enjoy beer, sparkling water, and snacks for a long and relaxing time. Thank you.
