Located south of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun serves as the main gate and was named by scholars of the Jiphyeonjeon during the Joseon Dynasty. This beautiful Korean tourist attraction is renowned for its architectural elegance, featuring three arched gates.
In front of Gwanghwamun stands a stone statue called Haetae, symbolizing protection for the gate.
