Visiting the Balhae exhibition hall at the National Museum of Korea was a meaningful experience, allowing me to rediscover the often-forgotten significance of Balhae in our history. 🔮

The exhibition hall showcased a diverse collection of exquisite pottery, metalwork, and household utensils, demonstrating Balhae's active exchange with Northeast Asian cultures. In particular, artifacts showcasing Balhae's interactions with the Tang Dynasty, blending with Balhae's unique style, truly showcased its cultural depth. The exhibition allowed me to appreciate that Balhae wasn't simply a successor to Goguryeo, but a nation with a proud international standing. 🪴

This exhibition allowed me to experience both historical significance and cultural value.🦋
