Here’s my Seoul travel diary — 3 days of palace vibes, food adventures, and city feels 🏯🍲
If you’re headed to Seoul, you can’t skip Gyeongbokgung Palace (161 Sajik-ro, Jongno District)! I went in spring — hours are 09:00-18:00 (last entry 17:00), closed on Tuesdays. Entry was 49.9 KRW and seriously worth it. The architecture is iconic, and the grounds are HUGE, so give yourself time to explore. Pro tip: Go early to beat the crowds, and check the palace dress code if you want cute Hanbok photos!
Top Eats: Army stew is a MUST in Seoul — this spicy, bubbling hotpot has noodles, kimchi, sausage, and more. I hit up a spot near the palace, but you’ll find tons in Myeongdong or Hongdae. Perfect after all that walking!
Getting around: The subway is fast and clean — grab a T-money card to tap in and out on all public transit. Navigating Seoul with Google Maps is mostly smooth, but Papago app is better for translation. Most big attractions are near metro stations so you’ll walk a lot, but the city is easy to explore (bring comfy shoes!).
Extra Seoul hacks: No need to tip at restaurants, cash or card both work almost everywhere. Spring and fall are best for travel — light layers and a waterproof jacket recommended.
Whether you’re craving ancient history or food thrills, Seoul has it all. #seoulhotspots #gyeongbokgungpalace #kfoodquest #tripcom #palaceandstew
