Introduction: Taoyuan Shrine, located in Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, was built in 1938. Initially, it did not have an official rank, but on April 12, 1945, it was elevated to the status of a prefectural shrine. Situated near Hutoushan (Tiger Head Mountain), the shrine has been repurposed as the Taoyuan Martyrs' Shrine after World War II.

Review: This site is not only a historical monument but also a reminder of Taiwan's colonial past. Japanese shrines are now rare in Taiwan, and Taoyuan Shrine is considered one of the most well-preserved examples. It is definitely worth a visit.
