Ikseon-dong's sensibility, Cafe Madang☂️🌈

While strolling through the alleys of Ikseon-dong, I stumbled upon a cafe called "Rain Report Rainbow," which, true to its name, felt even more special on a rainy day. The traditional charm of the hanok combined with the sleek black-toned interior created a distinctly unique atmosphere compared to other cafes in Ikseon-dong.
Perhaps because of the rain, the aesthetic photo zones scattered throughout the cafe shone even brighter. Sitting by the window and taking photos against the backdrop of raindrops streaming down, the serene hanok ambiance blended with the black interior, evoking an almost exotic feeling.
Among the desserts, the crispy-on-the-outside, moist-on-the-inside scones left the most lasting impression. The exterior was delightfully crisp, while the inside was moist with a subtle buttery aroma. Paired with coffee, it brought a sense of calm to my heart. The combination with a cafe latte, in particular, was simply perfect.
Above all, this place gave off a strong vibe of being a "space you want to linger in." With the gentle sound of rain in the background as I sipped my coffee, I found myself sitting there for hours without realizing how much time had passed.
While Rain Report Rainbow is not a place you need to visit only on rainy days, its charm is undoubtedly amplified when it rains. If you're looking to spend a special and atmospheric time in Ikseon-dong, I highly recommend stopping by.
