Next week for Seoul ginkgo viewing, go here | Other areas organized | 10.17

Recommended ginkgo check-in phases in Seoul for the next month, with reasons analyzed. Due to my personal frequent hiking and photography work, I have organized some spots from the past month. Wishing everyone a happy autumn hiking in Seoul 😆
🔶 Next week
Daehangno, which is the place shared live on the 13th. The first and second pictures in this note are also from the same location, just photographed today. It’s an area with quite a lot of golden yellow leaves.
🔶 Late October to early November
Hongdae and Sinchon area in Seodaemun District, picture 3, photographed today, updated on October 2nd.
Changdeokgung Stone Wall Road, picture 9 updated on the 12th, looks like it will be very nice as well.

🔆 Due to Seoul’s mountainous terrain and urban heat island effect, the timing and speed of chlorophyll breakdown in ginkgo leaves can vary by 2 to 3 weeks across different areas, making it convenient for everyone to visit at different times.
🔆 The sharp temperature drop around October 21st affects the recommendations for November, which are rough and not to be taken as advice. Please continue to follow real-time photos after November if needed.

🔶 Early November: Ewha Womans University Road, Gyeongbokgung Outer Wall, Seoul Forest
🔶 Mid-November: Samcheong-dong, Malli-dong Road, Olympic Park
🍂 Besides ginkgo, elm trees, cherry blossom trees, oak trees, and maple trees are also important colorful elements of autumn. Don’t stress yourself out if you don’t see satisfactory ginkgo leaves. Enjoy your trip first and foremost!
