A Park That Gets Better with Age
Since opening a few years ago, it’s clear the Seoul Botanic Park is evolving. While the indoor greenhouse is a finished spectacle, the outdoor areas, particularly the Open Forest and Wetlands, are a long-term project that promises to get even more magnificent as the young plants mature. You can feel the potential in the vast, open spaces and the newly established rock gardens. I can only imagine how lush the entire area will be in a few years, becoming an even more vital ecological zone bordering the Han River. It’s exciting to visit now and track the growth—it’s like watching Seoul’s commitment to becoming a greener city blossom right before your eyes.
