I've visited Yeouido Hangang Park countless times, and it truly is the "green escape" the name suggests, especially considering it's right in the heart of Seoul's Manhattan-like financial district. What sets this park apart is its stunning, energetic yet calm atmosphere.
My top recommendation is to rent a bike (or a surrey bike with friends!), grab some convenience store ramen (they have a floating dock where you can cook it yourself!), and settle down for a picnic. You can even order food delivery right to your mat—it's a uniquely Korean experience! The well-maintained walking trails and dedicated bike paths create perfect conditions for a leisurely afternoon. We ended the day watching the sunset over the Han River, which was breathtaking. Every visit feels like a fresh adventure, and it’s a fantastic, free-entry way to spend a whole day in Seoul.
