I stumbled upon this Gwangalli sashimi restaurant in Hapjeong after a chance hankering for sashimi! I ordered half salmon, half yukban (salmon sashimi), and snow crab maki rice! Sides included vegetables, pickled shallots, and tomato slices, and the main course came out incredibly quickly!

The salmon was incredibly thick, so I ate it in one bite and it was incredibly rich. The light flavor paired well with the alcohol. The maki rice was delicious, but the beef tataki was truly delicious. 🧡 Next time I go, I'll definitely order that as a main dish!!

The place was small, but there was a second branch, and the walls were covered in graffiti, giving it a cozy feel and a real gourmet vibe. If you're craving raw fish but Gwangalli is too far, I recommend going to Gwangalli Raw Fish Restaurant in Hapjeong-dong. 😁😁
