Rain on the Roof is a hidden cafe and bar tucked away on the rooftop (or so it seems) of an old building in the secluded neighborhood of Sangenjaya. Its charm lies in its unique exotic atmosphere and coziness, making you feel as if you've stepped into the attic of a retro guesthouse in a remote Asian country.
The interior is lined with antique furniture and miscellaneous goods from around the world, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that will make you lose track of time and place. With a wide selection of food and sweets, and open until late at night, it's the perfect place for a second stop after a night of drinking in Sangenjaya, or for chatting with friends or a significant other until the last train. It's beloved by many regulars as an unpretentious adult hideaway.
📍Address: Sangenjaya Building 4F, 24-19 Taishido 4-chome, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo 154-0004
🕰️Hours: 12:00-23:00 (Last Order: Food 22:00, Drinks 22:30)
