Revisiting Xinyang with my little Dou: Shangcheng Edition Let's go out and play

Taking my family's dog to revisit Xinyang Shangcheng, it's truly stunning!✨

- Huatuo Valley Scenic Area (15 minutes from downtown)
This small city is full of hidden gems!🏞️

Shangcheng truly deserves the title "Little Jiangnan of Southern Henan"!
Mountains surround the city 🏔️, gentle rivers flow 🌊

Full of lively local life with the charm of a Jiangnan water town

🍴 Food recommendations:
1️⃣ Shangcheng Shaobing (baked flatbread)
Having tried Xinyang shaobing, I must say this one is even better!
Crispy outside, tender inside, freshly baked and sold, super fragrant!🥯

2️⃣ Shangcheng Building Old Duck Soup (downtown)
Had it two days in a row without getting tired! Rich broth, flavorful ingredients 🦆
The most amazing part is even the side dishes are delicious!

3️⃣ Amaranth Vegetable Box
A local favorite snack, thin dough with plenty of filling
One bite and you feel completely satisfied!😋

- Catfish Mountain Reservoir (15 minutes from downtown)
- Heitan Bridge (pet-friendly, dogs can swim)
