The Wukang Building is a popular place to visit in Shanghai's cultural and artistic district. The Wukang Building, formerly known as the Normandy Apartment and also known as the Dongmate Apartment, is located at 1842-1858 Huaihai Middle Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai. The building was built in 1924 with funds from the International Savings Bank and designed by the Shanghai-based architect Hudec. It is the first external corridor apartment building in Shanghai. In 1994, Wukang Building was selected as the second batch of Shanghai's outstanding historical buildings.

Because the Wukang Building is very famous, it attracts many tourists to take photos and appreciate this historical building; there are many different types of coffee shops around it, and you can spend half a day here leisurely. There are still residents living in the building, so when taking photos, don’t disturb the residents’ normal lives too much. But because the weather was very good that day, we took a lot of photos, and the scenery along the way was very beautiful, so we could take photos slowly 🤳🏻 and enjoy a quiet afternoon 🥰🥰
