A bustling street that stands shoulder to shoulder with the Bund, the center of Shanghai tourism. It is a representative street of Shanghai with a history of over 100 years. It is a road that stretches from the Huangpu River where the Bund is located to Jing'an Temple for about 5km from east to west. Based on the intersection with Xizang Middle Road, the road east to the Huangpu River is called NanjingEastLu (南京东路), and the road west to Jing'an Temple is called NanjingWestLu (南京西路).
Another advantage is that you can walk around the pedestrian street without worry. The intersection between Henan Middle Road and Xizang Middle Road is designated as a pedestrian street, making it a great place to enjoy a walk. If you get tired of walking, you can rest on a bench in the middle of the street, and although it is a pedestrian street, there is a tourist minibus as the only means of transportation. The bus travels between Henan Middle Road and Guizhou Road.
