[Shanghai/Shanghai Film Museum] See 100 years of Chinese film history!

The exhibition space occupies the first to fourth floors of this huge building, and visitors are first taken to the fourth floor by elevator, then proceed to watch films from the top floors. The museum displays the world of Chinese cinema spanning 100 years. Rather than showcasing the mechanics of film or the films themselves, the museum focuses on Chinese films. Visitors can enjoy technical exhibits of Chinese film stars and directors, mainly from Shanghai, filming equipment, special makeup, and film screenings. Admission is 200 RMB for adults.
