On Saturday, the first stop of M50’s exhibition was the M Art Space outside the park gate. I have seen many high-quality exhibitions here before, and today is no exception. It is based on the photography concept of "Post-Visualization", showing four international artists traveling through darkrooms and dreams, pixels and imagination, using images as materials to recreate "other realities" with a strong surreal meaning.

Jerry Uelsmann develops the selected images one by one in the darkroom using the gelatin silver process. The other realities he imagined reveal a typical surrealist color.

Maggie Taylor's digitally synthesized works exude a Victorian quality. Most of the elements in her works come from old photos she found at flea markets. Like the long-lost faces frozen in the photos, they are rearranged into new narrative imaginations with the marks of time.

Kabiela Morawiec creates photographic installations using a variety of mixed media to construct a mysterious and obscure reality that transcends description.

Ji Yong's "Renewing Landscape" further integrates the attributes of painting into image creation. He processes the contemporary scenes he photographs in a painterly way and combines them with landscapes from traditional paintings, inviting us to re-examine history and the current situation.
